For the sake of argument I will assume that a good state is one which fulfils its function of being a state, in much the same way that one might consider a good watch a watch which fulfils its function of being a watch – keeping the time accurately, being portable and so on. Further more I suppose it will be useful to define what I mean by nation, state and country. A nation is perhaps the ...

I've been debating with myself (what a terribly dull life I must lead) as to whether I should post snippets of an essay I had to write recently, well, I thought I'd do so as I find autism such an interesting subject and working with kids who have autism has proved to be an enriching experience. The whole essay was 4000 words (actually it ran to about 4390... well within the 10% limit!)...

It's like the chat thread, but for us! May it live a long life and not get closed the instant someone with admin here sees it. Maybe if we make the Symposium a place some people check pretty frequently, other (better) topics will follow. In case you don't know how chat threads work, basically post whatever you want and people chime in if they want to, or completely change the topic. ...

You know, I really like not pouring everything out in a single posts, because the bits and pieces are coming together slowly and I can't remember everything at once. I almost forgot to mention, the deal with the petition I have signed along with another 5000 people, because of a dreaded 2 patch policy of which was enforced by the Activision publisher of CA, before Sega. Some people ...

Arguing with some people in the VV about WWII is like arguing with a rock... So let's talk about WWII a bit here... I got a question for the experts here: Is there any truth behind the stories of every other man in some Soviet battles having a rifle or is that a Hollywood exaggeration?

Many members are eager to know how to become a citizen. They usually get the following type of answers: A) AKA http://www.twcenter.net/wiki/TWC:FAQ#How_to_become _a_Citizen B) contribute here and there, be helpful and nice to others, make good posts (and spam less ) Although these answers are useful in general, they don't seem to entirely solve the msytery. As a ...
